SERVICE INFORMATION
^ Recent design changes have been made to the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (1PMS) sensor receiver and control units (new style TPMS
components).
^ These changes were applied as follows:

^ These changes do not affect the overall function of the TPMS.
^ These changes do affect the interchangeability of parts. For example:
> Full wheel assemblies (wheel and tire assemblies with TPMS) cannot be swapped between old style sensor-equipped and new style
sensor-equipped vehicles.
CAUTION:
^ New style and old style TPMS components are not compatible and cannot be interchanged.
^ Swapping of new style and old style components will cause the TPMS to stop operating correctly.
If further confirmation of the TPMS sensor part number is required review the part number of the originally installed equipment before replacement.
To confirm the latest part numbers, always consult the appropriate parts catalog when replacing or exchanging TPMS sensors, receivers, or control
modules.
NOTE:
^ An update is now available for the Signal Tech II to support the new style TPMS components. The update can be found in ASIST > INFO
Tool Box > Signal Tech II.
^ For 2010 models built after February 28 2010 a Signal Tech II menu selection "2010.5" has been added.
