4. If OK, check harness for short to ground and short to power.
5. Reinstall any part removed.
OK or NG
OK - GO TO 4.
NG - Replace open circuit or short to ground and short to power in harness or connectors.
4.DETECT MALFUNCTIONING ITEM
Check the following.
- Starter relay, See: Starting and Charging/Starting System/Description and Operation.
- IPDM E/R, See: Power and Ground Distribution/Power Distribution Module/Description and Operation/System Description.
OK or NG
OK - Replace the control valve with TCM. See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Valve Body/Service and Repair.
NG - Repair or replace damaged parts.
5.CHECK DTC
Perform See: P Code Charts/P0615/5AT RE5R05A.
OK or NG
OK - INSPECTION END
NG - GO TO 2.

TCM prohibits cranking other than at "P" or "N" position.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" is previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before
performing the next test.
- GO TO 2.
2.CHECK DTC DETECTION
With CONSULT-III
1. Shift the selector lever to "P" and "N" positions.
2. Turn ignition switch ON and wait 2 seconds or more.
3. Perform "Self Diagnostic Results" in "TRANSMISSION".
Is "P0615" detected?
YES - Go to See: P Code Charts/P0615/7AT RE7R01A.
NO - INSPECTION END
